Hi NobleThread2451 sadly the game docent officially support Linux (Which Stream Deck runs on.) The game does have controller support and some proton users have managed to get the game running on Linux (with issues) however the devs would love to port this game to as many platforms as they can including Linux so we will just have to see what happens over the next few months.
PS. Supposedly I should get my Steam Deck around October/November so if I remember I will update this with a absolute yes or no then.
I tried the beta version it recommends when videos wont play and that played videos better, and while IIRC I could switch between broadcasts and bring up the news opening titles, videos would lose sync and sometimes be stuck on the opening screen of the video making timing of switching impossible.
I loaded the newer version of Proton that linux on it uses for running windows games, GE Proton 7-31 and in the properties of NFB told it to use that but with Beta videos still had playback issues. Then switched to the normal videos (not using the beta videos) and now the game plays fine (so far though I only tested a little into the first scenario so a little switching, playback of ads and the interference minigame.
Hopefully this helps other SteamDeck users. Its amazing to play this game on the Deck! Not for Broadcast on the go!
This game should NOT be listed as Steam Deck Playable.
It's NOT officially support by the developers. The message on the steam page was set by Steam/Valve not by NotGames or Tinybuild.
Some people like myself have got it running just fine out of the box. But others like you say it docent work. it's a bit of a mixed bag.
A few fix's that some times work are to change the version of proton, reinstall the game or make sure you are not playing in desktop mode. (Dont ask me why for the last one it makes no sense to me but it's worked in the past so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
Yeah, I get that but there is no real way to tell Valve directly that their listing is wrong unless you happen to get a feedback request from them. The reliable way to check compatibility for any game is going to the forums and searching "Deck" and seeing what people have to say. Hence, my addition to this thread. The year old "Officially no, Possibly maybe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" answer now has some more current information for people. You're welcome.
Hi ericdeets please can you submit a bug report to the developers so they can investigate. Thanks:

I have the same problem as ericdeets with GE Proton 7-31. After the first phone call it asked me to move the left stick, but the image get stucked. (Bug report summited.)
How to fix it? Install NFB on PC to skip the tutorial?

I tried GE proton 7-28 and the problem was solved.
