Anyone have a guide for Perfect score on each Broadcast?
Does anyone have a guide for how to perfectly get an A+ for each broadcast without making any mistakes? I'm a big perfectionist for a game like this and some broadcasts are hard and long to get an A+ for each section like the Telethon.

It's just one of those things, it'll take time and practice. I've only gotten A+ on the first broadcast. My problem is, I always end up having a ton of dull editing, even though I follow the rule, switch cameras every 10 seconds and stay on who's talking.

The "stay on who's talking" rule, is a bit.... untrue. For example, if Megan Wolf asks Lawrence Blunderclatch a question, I'll switch to her, and when he answers, I'll switch to him. But to constantly stay on him, is wrong. So I always switch back to the wide shot of them both, then back to Megan if she asks another question, then back to Lawrence when he answers, then back to the wide shot if his answer is long and winded. But I try to do 7 or 8 seconds. I had huge problems my first time through the second segment, and when I got to the Telethon, I did bad there again.

So it's just something you'll have to keep plugging away at. It would be a very cool feature if we could do a custom game, say you just want to play the Telethon to get practice or you just want to do the first segment, there could be options for that.

So it is a lot of trial and error but you will get there. As long as you remember that you should stay on a shot for no more then 10 seconds and no less then 3 seconds. You can also have reaction shots that should last 3 seconds. A good indercator for what screen you can display is the lights under the displays. Green - Just a normal shot. Orange - A reaction shot and Red - Dont broadcast this screen.

For the music segments switching cams to the beat wont effect your score as long as you follow the 3 main rules of how long you should stay on each shot.

Remember to stay on who is talking. You can and should do reaction shots and wide shots but try to keep to who is speacking.

If your goal is to get an A+ for a broadcast overall you need a minimum of 2 A+ and 1 A

If you are strugaling with the interferance you can buy an upgrade that will increece the speed you can move it up and down.

And finaly dont worry if you mess up one or 2 things you can still get an A+. If you need any more help or somthing spasific please ask. :)

Thank you Fluxcabury. Before reading your comment I thought orange was just a mediocre shot, and was constantly getting dinged. Now I know why. :beatmeat:

I have managed to get A+ for everything except for the final third of the tempest, you know the shocking one! I was A+ for the first 2 sections, but always end up with A or B, so I must only be getting B or C in the end (it doesn't help that you go straight into lockdown without seeing a score sheet, so i don't know if it's "dull editing" or "missed censor")
Though I hadn't realised until now there was a minimum of 3 seconds. So for back-and-forth questions and answers probably i'm swiching too quickly!

I used to work in video doing multicams just like this, the rules of the game s far as which shots to switch to and hold in my opinion do make for good cuts. I've gotten some A+s and that's considering that just now reading this thread is the first I've realized about the helper lights.

Hi all,

Just as a quick note for any of you who, like me, tend to obsess over getting the top grade in games like these, because twiigss raised a good point.

If you have played through a particularly challenging segment, and want to practice it on its own without playing through a full sequence etc, in the Challenge Modes there is a Free Play Mode, which allows you to play through any segment you've already done, without an audience. This will allow you get familiar with the segment as it progresses and learn what tricky bits pop up where :) hope that helps!
