She WIll Punish Them is out but still under final-stage development, patches and getting bugs ironed out. Once this game is acceptable then the team will be going back to Valkyries and getting that ready for release - but at the earliest i can't see Valkyries appearing before 2022 now.

SWPT was quite a surprise, I have to admit. I found myself having a blast after a couple of hours and efter finding myself accepting some of the jankyness.

Definately worth a look at least.

They do look similar as heck. In fact I'm a bit sceptical about Valkyrie game... what will they do to make it different ? Better in depth combat? Open world?... the frame work and the systems are the same.

I'm mainly skeptical about Valkyries because they haven't even finished the first game but now they're putting out another with the same basic idea, comes off a bit cash-grabby... It's a red flag about the future of these two games and i'm not sure how i feel about it.

It's never a good sign, but there's a little light in the end of this particular tunnel; They've stated that they won't continue wasting unneccessary time on Valkyries until SWPT is finishes, so I guess that's good. Whatever that may mean in the end... hell, who knows.

they were working on both at one point but then they put this on the back burner till SWPT was done and released. since their team is still very small i doubt this is coming out anytime soon let alone being worked on right now.

originally there were 2 teams working on this and the other. their parent company shut down this team and had the other pump out early release of the other. because of its success, they are handing them this to work on after SWPT is fully complete.

From what I've seen, there seem to be some differences. The combat looks to be noticeably improved, the enemies look more varied (hot, half-naked chicks as enemies, yes please!), the levels look like they're more detailed & developed, and the graphics look better. Plus, it's based on Norse mythology, so that could be very interesting.

I could be wrong, but that's my impression so far. And if I'm right, then I'm very excited about this game.
