Crack's call has been tamed compared to the original... In the original, it's instant death for 20MP. In caster of magic it's 25MP for 21 hit points damage.
Web shouldn’t be changed IMO. Without web, flyers are way too powerful now that flyers don’t attack non-flyers if 5hey are weaker.
Web counters fliers who could otherwise be a pita to deal with.
And Cracks Call counters singular insanely powered guys like Torin with 3 artifacts. Who would otherwise be impossible to deal with.
Or make it halve movement, but make flyers groundbased!
Completely stopping an enemy in its tracks is awesome (for me when I cast it, but not when others do on me lol), as it works on the most powerful units (apart from wraithformed / non-corporal units).
If you made it reduce movement only, and grounds flyers, that might be better / less powerful.
Cracks call has been toned down, but I think 21 damage on a hero is still too much, unless it no longer applies a no resurrection status (I mean you can dig the body up if you needed). 16 damage might be better perhaps? But allowing resurrection would be nice.
Does the web still have 12 hp? It should reduce damage by 12, instead of being able to directly counter something with 30 attack and a breath weapon.
Spells that scale with the power of the opponent are very spiffy, but generally shouldn't be found at common tier.
The only exception of abusing Web is probably casting it with Magicians, but even then there are just way to many counters: i.e. Magicians are weak, shooters can kill some of them on first turn, any 9-pack is also a counter since you need to split your Magicians between Webbing and dealing damage.
Otherwise the best answer is probably to send in some cannon fodder first.
