That said, Dark Elf Warlocks can cast Doom Bolt, and a couple of those should kill a Sky Drake, and that doesn't even matter what kinds of magic you have yourself.
--
Warlocks and nightmares are roughly uncommon tier or maybe low rare, they shouldn't be good against very rares.
That is, unless you buff the nightmare out the wazoo. Lionheart, holy weapon, holy armour, prayer or high prayer. Then you can kill sky drakes with nightmares. Then you can kill great drakes with nightmares, let alone sky drakes.
If you're not a white mage, then your plan should be to use your absurd mana revenue to research and summon your own giant squads of very rares.
Maybe I remember it wrong..I think I couldn't use doom bolt to sky drake..
But that is only original Master of Magic and Master of Magic/Community Patch...
The problem is that you probably have to web every round, what with that lighting breath. So a big bunch remains a serious problem, and whittling away at the pack is the best you can do.
But yeah, if there's a lot of them, not much choice other than to whittle away, taking your losses.
I wonder... does Mind Storm work through Magic Immunity?
Mind Storm does not work through Magic Immunity...
