1. To conquer another country you need to attack it (using your army only, other methods of lowering enemy army will not trigger this event) while it has almost 0 army counter. To make an alliance - you can send different gifts to that country, like food, gold, or even send your soldiers for aid. It is not required to conquer or make an alliance with other countries if you want to end the game, but if you manage to either conquer all of the countries, make an alliance with all them or at least make an alliance or conquer all of the countries - you will get a slightly different ending and an achievement.
2. You cant build more buildings yet, but I will be adding a bit more story-events and buildings to be made in an upcoming couple of months. Right now you can try gathering the resources you need from the buildings you've created (sawmill, mines, marketplace, arena or church replenish every day and you have an unlimited amount of days to continue).
3. Sure they will attack you if you get low diplomatic relationships with them and they will have higher armies than you do. So be careful.
