Naofumi still gains levels after reaching lvl 40 before the class-upgrade event happens

That's not the case I remember though, and yet his fellow party member follow the well-known party cap rule.

if you re watch the episode where they actually do class up raphtalia and filo, naofumi already is above lvl 40...heroes arent level capped as it has been said multiple times here
