Playtest FAQ - 07/09/22

There’s only an hour left until it’s playtest time! ✨

We've listened to your feedback, notes and suggestions, and have reworked the game to meet your needs. You can experience these reworks during an exclusive test which will be live later today, during our private playtest.

For those of you that own the game already, details on how to access the playtest will be shared at 4pm BTS as an announcement.


Who is the playtest for?
All players who already have the game in their Steam library will be able to access the 1.2 Update branch.

What does the playtest involve?
The playtest will offer up the brand new Expedition system, in addition to a re-hauled and rebalanced version of the game.

How?
Unlike starting a fresh game, you won’t start at the beginning of the story, but further into the journey, with a pre-defined crew and cargo.

Why?
The objective of the test is to get your feedback and feelings in order to validate and finalise the latest changes to the game before they’re rolled out. This is a unique chance for you to participate in the finalisation of the game; we’re very excited to hear your thoughts, feedback and comments.

When?
Playtest starts at 4pm BST, see you then 🚀

What about the savegame ? Is that bound to the branch, meaning if i switch to the beta i will still have my save from before if i switched back ?

Edit: You are providing multiple save slots as i see now, so consider my issue resolved here.
