How do I kill Melvin Underbelly?

I tried searching but came up empty. What is the best stratagy for killing him?

At the very begining it pays to get rid of the tables and chairs in the room. After you get his health down to a certain point he will start rolling around trying to squash you and your minions, when it gets to this point just start going around the room without stopping and wait for him to stop than send you miions on him.

I must say it is useless to try attack this boss with minions through the left mouse button, it just crush them all or kill with fork.

I easily killed Melvin on legendary mode with my tactics.
First, break all the furniture in the room. It is a very clumsy boss .Just running around and try to always run behind him and wait until he makes his fork hit the air. Once he made a stroke immediately run up behind him and start hitting him with an ax, your minions will also beat him. After three ax blows immediately runs away from him (if beat him too long he will have time to hit the fork and kill at least one your minion and remove 1 your HP line), and again wait until he hit a fork and repeat the actions.
Also be wary when he jumps up and down. Such an attack kills at least 5 minions.

As soon as his health would be equal to half it starts rolling on the floor. Just trying dodge from him.When it gets to this point and begins to rise immediately ran up to him and hit him with an ax, your minions will also beat him. As soon as he gets up and starts to aim for the next blow on you - run out as much as possible.

You can also carefully try to beat him until he rolls on the floor. Toward the end, he probably would crush all your minions and you have to finish it alone.
