Ok time to post my actual answer:
People have different body types. This is 6th grade human biology people. Not everyone is gonna be a beanpole. Gamzee is taller and thinner than karkat because he has a DIFFERENT BODY TYPE. The original sprites from the comic are all drawn the same way, which leaves a lot of room for Headcanon. For example, we rarely ever see equius in non-sprite form, but a lot of people agree that he’s jacked, and we almost never see gamzee out of sprite form, and lots of people agree that he’s a beanpole.
Tl;Dr, vague sprites in the original comic led to Headcanons.

There are like 4 architypes of people responding to this thread:

1 "The look she has now does not fit her established personality/appearance (expressions included). This change improves nothing, and is not properly explained."

I don't like this. It's not a good thing that the argument has gone this way.

*I'm taking a shot here because, and this may shock you. Being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the person you're talking to dislikes a piece of art is literally bigotry. I don't care what definition you think is the correct one, you are being a bigot. I may in fact be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here, I hope me taking this course will make it easier to understand your opposition. --And no, I see no evidence you are even considering the implications of your own views, let alone those of others.--

Pro tip: Argue against yourself before you post. Like genuinely, seriously consider the matter from the perspective of you being wrong. If nothing else it may help you cool down and find a less combatative phrasing that won't needlessly put somebody on the defensive thereby shutting down all personal growth the discussion could have inspired.
The homestuck fandom is getting smaller. Let's try to be civil even when we disagree.
