Hand holding wasting resources
Hey! First I want to say I love the game. Great atmosphere and gameplay.

That said, a little thing that irks me a little is how much the game forces you to do thing in a set order. I grind my teeth everytime I have to talk to Elsa.

At the beginning the game teach you how to build a farm, great, no issue with that. But then you're forced to build an armory, build a shotgun, then a ship building thing and a new ship (that's constantly beeping btw, why?)... Enough, let me play how I want, you did teach me how to build stuff, now let me discover the game.

The UIX is pretty clear and easy to grasp so those tutorials are really unecessary and just annoying, especially when you're forced to craft stuff you'll never use (like the Needle). Please don't be scared to let your players find their own fun in this sandbox.

Yeah, I get terrible handholding with a lot of mobile games and it is mostly unnecessary. Don't handhold by forcing decisions. Don't choose the part for us. Don't choose the weapon for us. Don't choose the mod.

When I am told to upgrade the assault rifle, I know you don't know how to give players a choice. Try "upgrade a weapon" rather than "upgrade the assault rifle.

The release patchnote says they removed building generating resources so they may have removed the farm, didn't play the final version yet as I was away most of August, so I'm not sure. But it was the first building you created when I played.

It wasn't really farming like you can imagine it in Stardew Valley. More like a little timer to get coton and a few other resources, it took ~5 minutes to grow.
