Cheat code not working?

So I tried inputing codes by pressing 1 on the main menu and then entering the code and pressing - but nothing seems to be activating.

Thank you for the quick reply, but is there a requirement for cheat codes to work? As in do i have to complete the game normally first before activating it?

You can use cheat code from very beginning. Have you tried press Number "1" key, then end the cheat with same "number 1" key?

When you do, Number 1 will show up at bottom left side of screen. if you see this number, that mean cheat mode is activated.
Then try type cheat code while number is show at bottom left side of screen.

(ex: 1example1) <- this is not actual cheat code! this is just example!!

Not sure if I'm a fan of the gameplay. It looked interessting enough that I thought I could give it a chance.
Everything else like sex animations would be personal taste.
Anyway, I think you maybe should put them in a gallery mode after finishing the game.
I had a game in which a room existed where you could revisit every monster. I think it was a sprite game.

I think that I try a lot of different games which I would normally not play recently to see what else I like, but I don't think I like this enough to want to revisit every scene after I finish the game.
Which is why I ask for a gallery mode for the animations instead of the game over screen.

Even if this is not in early access anymore, I understand it correctly that you still work on the game?

Blue ID cards are collectible items, and Gold ID cards are collectible items that unlocks Chapter 1.5/2.5/3.5... and chapter 4.
Also regarding the Cheat code : When you managed clear chapter 3, you will meet the first ending, which is the original ending of Anthophobia V1.00
The Cheat code are hidden in Ending credit room.

You can insta kill them by various way. Try find their weakness.
Don't let them get you. You must catch them before they attack you from behind.

Yes I managed to get past it somehow, but wasn't really able to kill them that fast. I can't even attack them when they act as if they are a normal tree.

Not sure if they died but I tried to throw fire at most of them and had luck in the end.

When you hear "Roaring" that mean monsters started chasing you. try not to move and listen carefully. If you are using headset, even better.
When you listen very carefully, game will tell you which direction the monster coming.
keep switching direction, left and right, try play "spot the difference"
When you find them, try attack their "head", melee/pistol doesn't matter. it'll insta kill them.

...Or you can simply throw molotov / shoot the lamp in the air and make a small fire to let them walk into flame.

but these method only works when you attack them first. When monster managed attack you from behind, it's too late. so don't let them catch you! :D

Ahhhh okay now I think I understand what you mean.

I finished the first three chapters and it seems it unlocked every animation in an extra gallery even if I haven't seen it myself, Are the empty places just that or do I get more in the fourth chapter?

It would have been nice to be able to really see where the end is, so that you could go back.
I'm pretty sure playing it a second or third time wouldn't help me to remember which door I should not enter.

it'll only unlock about 60% of game.

That pixel animation gallery probably says "V1.00 or V1.50" right now.
(if you finished chapter 1/2/3, it'll say V1.00 if you finished 1.5/2.5/3.5, it'll say V1.50)
try find gold cards from chapter 1.5/2.5/3.5. then Chapter 4 will be unlocked.

First i thought this would be some sort of extra mission but when I played to the end I should have also finished 1.5 and the rest. I mean it looked as if that was just the second half of the episodes.

Chapter 1/2 series are Alternate route of the game. it does not change the ending. these 1/2 chapters were the expansion update of V1.00. Original game only had Chapter 1, 2, 3 and this game had expansion update during 2017 and 2019.
that's why game shows ending credit at chapter 3.
