Rule of Rose vibes

People still remember that game? it's one of my all-time favorites.
Looking at the pictures (I've yet to play it but pictures strongly remind me of Rule of Rose, which is a good thing and draws my interest) I guess it has some allusions to Rule of Rose and the main character looks a bit like Jennifer, the other girl reminds me of Amanda...
But probably it's a lot of sneaking/fleeing like in the first part? I'm so bad at that, in games like that and Clock Tower games I always wished I had more time to enjoy the eerie atmosphere...
I still hope for a PC version of Rule of Rose...
I mean, I still have a physical copy for my PS2 but it's *soo* expensive those days that I'm even afraid to insert the CD into the tray...
It would be great if they would start making more games like this...but I think the brilliance of Rule of Rose can not be surpassed in any way.
Yet I'm relieved that game developers still seem to honor that gem of a game and I'm looking forward to immerse myself in the Remothered games.

You can just run the game on PC with the latest version of PCSX2. Pretty much most high profile PS2 titles are now playable.

Rule of Rose was sooo underrated. Emulation is your friend

Rule of Rose was indeed very underrated... I find it so sad that mostly the same games are played and mentioned by a lot of people while there are so many interesting games out there...
I'm not so comfortable with emulators though... I don't know where to get the emulators and especially the roms for it... And it's not the same feeling like on the original platform...
But i may have to get accustomed to it since it's near impossible to get an affordable copy of games like Michigan Report from Hell and Kuon... (which are the only 2 survival horror titles that I'm still missing out on...).
I'm so furious about myself that I didn't buy it when it was still around 20 euros... I absolutely didn't expect the prices to skyrocket like that...

Ah yes, I remember Rule Of Rose. The Remothered games do indeed give off some of the same vibes at times.

yes I'm pretty sure CD took some ideas from Rule or Rose, especially the relationship between the two girls, RoR was a gem of its era, remember I had to play it in japanese when it first came out cause there was no intention to bring it to the west initially, then I was happy they did, it'd be great if they ported it on PC, but difficult, it's one of those games only hardcore horror fans remember....

I don't support piracy in most cases, but given it's almost impossible to get a copy nowadays, you could always burn a dvd with an iso of the game, and then run it on a modified ps2 (which are way more common than I expected)

Awwww yes! I loved to play rule of rose on my old PS2 but never ended it (sadly).
I'm always searching for games like that with the quality of these days and playable on PC without any emulators :D.
Unfortunately, far too few people remember this treasure.

I bought rule of rose for dirt cheap back in the day, one of the genre's best. I'm here debating whether to get this on a 2.99 sale or wait for the first game
