Tbh the game is trash, guys. You gotta at least recognize it so you won't get butthurt like that.
we understand that you may have watched some videos and streams showing many bugs in the launch version of the game. However, we assure you that we are working day and night towards deploying patches to fix all of them - we’ve already released 5 Steam patches through which we’ve fixed many bugs and enhanced the overall gaming experience - and we will keep doing so until the game matches players’ expectations.

Holy contradiction in action, Batman!
You say that the game isn't broken at all yet you acknowledge all the bugs?
The presence of all of those bugs means that the game in its current state is totally broken!
Not to mention that you seem to not acknowledge all the bugs that locked John up such as when he could not move Jennifer suddenly because she would get stuck into place, or the fact that he had to reboot the boss battle in the cathedral remains five times because of how bugged out it was. You also seem to conveniently ignore the fact that he states many times he was a fan of the first game & was rooting for this one, so it really disappointed him that it was in this current state.
With that said, he did make a few mistakes here & there, but it's not like any Let's Player is immune to that. But much of what happened in his playthrough was outside of his control.
I get wanting to defend a game, as I too really enjoy the first game, but even I have to admit that this game is a hot bug-riddled mess with really questionable game design moments and/or moments that do a poor job of conveying the objective which is only further hurt when those moments bug out. I will say I do like many elements of the story, despite it suffers from "hard exposition dump" syndrome, and the constant jumping around feels poorly executed. You can't just blame the fact that the game is being poorly received for those present factors on "internet trolls" when that is clearly not the case.
Though I will say that even if its' current state, it's still better than that godawful trainwreck NightCry.

Attacking people because they can see the issues and bugs through a streamers videos is beyond asinine....
Seriously....ask yourself a simple question...How does it matter where and how you discovered the issues plaguing the game? What does it matter that he saw the issues on a stream and not on his own gameplay?
Your comment is incredibly stupid....Doesn't matter if I experience the issues myself OR see them played out on someone else's stream... It doesn't negate the issues OR his observations about the game ffs.

My anger is nil. I lost like 30 bucks. Big deal. I still like this company and what they're trying to achieve. I think this game is full of artistic value but being brought down by extremely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ coders. Your anger, however, is through the roof. I simply don't understand what pushes you and this other rando to keep trash talking on a game that ultimately does not interest you. Get a life, man. You're so invested in sprinkling your unwarranted opinion all over the place I don't even know how you still have time for yourself.
