Thank you for letting us know about this technique! We were not aware of it, and as such, it is probably not available in the DemonCrawl engine.
We need to experiment with 1.5 click in Classic Minesweeper to get a better idea of how it actually works, but it's worth mentioning something: in DemonCrawl, you don't need to use both mouse buttons to chord - left clicking a visible cell is sufficient.
Not sure whether that affects the usefulness of the 1.5 click technique. Just wanted to throw it out there. If it turns out that 1.5 click is still desirable, we'll look into implementing.
Thanks again!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like this feature eliminates the need of 1.5-clicking. The reason to 1.5 click in Minesweeper is because you're forced to click the right mouse button to chord.
In Demoncrawl, this can be done with the left mouse button, so the functions of the two buttons don't overlap and you never have to double click (and thus have no need to "save" the effort on double-clicking).
With 1.5 click I can flag a cell with right click, hold it and immedietaly chord with a left click. But in demoncrawl i have to flag with a right click, release the right click, then left click to chord. I waste alot of time trying to 1.5 click in demoncrawl but it doesnt work because i'm not used to releasing the right click. so yeah it's a pretty niche complaint
