Not sure if there's a correct one. You'll have to find a climbing axe, go up the frozen stairs to find a meditating Monkeyta, go back to take the trident from the Dodobo tower, and roll the statue.

I found the meditating dude with the explorer note talking about the hidden gate in the ground, but there's still no option to take the trident? And what statue do you have to roll?

Or does taking the trident get disabled as soon as you meet the lion and get the grog?
