Working with Save Files
I am trying to create some video content and run of this game and I plan on creating a review of the game as well, but I have run out of save entries and the game will not allow me to delete saves.

I tried remove the files from my local hard drive in both the savefiles and backup folder under AppData, but the game continues to load all of my saves.

I also turned off the Cloud Sync for the game within Steam, but I am still seeing the saves. I don't know what to do here.

I cannot move forward with the creation of my content which was going to be a lot of positive feedback for the game. Any help here would be appreciated.

Heyo!

After turning off the cloud saves, go to your AppData, and remove the save files. This should keep them out while you start the game.

If Steam is still insisting in loading back the saves, you can launch the game, then (while the game is on) go to your AppData, and clear the saves.


Removing saves is going to be added into the game very shortly! :)

So I have figured out the issue. The digital files in the folders were not being added back in. In fact, my folders show only the files that I want in there. In my folders, I only have Save0 and Save4 or slot 1 and slot 5.

However, when you start the game, I am seeing slots 1-3 and 5 filled up. Now when I click on one of the ones that there is no file for, it does start a new game, which is very encouraging, but the UI makes it seem like I don't have anymore save slots to use.

I am fine with everything at this point, but I did want to make sure that this was seen as a UI bug.

The way Morbid checks for these files, is through the settings file. So, when you create a new profile, Morbid will write this profile slot occupied into the settings file. This was done for the consoles, and will be "fixed" once I've added a proper way to remove the profiles! :)
