Horrible Auto-Save Functionality. BEWARE!

I just lost more than 10 hours of gameplay due to the bad auto-save functionality.

The developers put in a warning you'll lose your auto-save if you start a new chapter, but there is NO warning mid-chapter. If you open any save other than the auto-save, and haven't already created a manual save from the auto-save, you're screwed.

I wasn't sure which save to open (auto-save or manual save, due to multiple saves). So like in every other game I opened one, saw that it was the older one, so then backed out and loaded the auto-save.... NOPE. It overwrote the auto-save even though I didn't do *anything* on the save I opened first. Saw a dialogue was available on the scene shown, knew that it wasn't where I left off, so backed out to the title screen and saw the auto-save was reset.

Has turned a great game into a horrible experience, as I lost all of my s-rank Chapter 3 progress (just had the last puzzle remaining)

For anyone who ends up in the same situation: turn on easy mode, and then you can just hold down mouse button and move all over any puzzle, and it will auto-solve them for you. You'll still have to click through the dialogue. I was able to do Chapter 3 start to finish in about 10 min, letting me move on to Chapter 4 as if I hadn't lost my save. Shouldn't have had to do it, but it's better than giving on up on the game
