Any info on the Selfcest achievement?

I've tried two things which didn't work.

- Playing multiplayer, drinking the All Brians drink, and having the two players end up together, so Brian ends up watching the meteor shower with a clone of himself.
- There's a "love yourself" speech Dahlia can give in one of her events. After hearing that, I tried choosing myself at the end of the game despite successfully unlocking an ending with Dahlia, but it didn't work (already seen that Dahlia ending, was just ticking off a few more outcomes, so no loss).

I've heard it has to do with choosing yourself for the meteor shower, but after seeing a specific event or taking some specific action. Any hints?

You have to play multiplayer and get the all Brian drink BUT you also have to sit on the lovelog twice so I'd advise picking a medium or long game to get it. You get new interactions if it worked and then at the end both players have to choose to be by themselves. Hope I could help

That's literally the first thing I described doing.:/ I can try it again, see if it works the second time, but I don't think you mention anything different.

Nope, didn't work. Two Brians, both ended up together after sitting on the love log twice, no achievement. The first time I was on a 4-player multiplayer and the second time was a 2-player multiplayer. The first time, I think it was Brian and Oz and the second time it was Vicky and Amira. I did drink the collective punch thing on that last playthrough, and I know that's involved in another achievement (which I already have), so I don't know if maybe that blocked it somehow? I can try it again without that drink.

Selfcest achievement is working fine, I just checked. The only requirement is to sit in the love log with 2 Brians, no need to do the plotline and ending. Is this issue still happening to you?

Hi,

That means you need to play a multiplayer game, drink the Brian-Os and THEN sit together at the campfire.

On the 2, 3, and 4 player short games, there is only one opportunity to visit the bar and you don't visit the campfire afterwards. So you can't get the achievement.

On the 3 and 4 player long games and the 2 player mid and long games, you visit the bar twice. The Brian-Os aren't available on the first visit and there's you don't visit the campfire after the second. So you can't get the achievement.

Those are all the multiplayer options. Obviously, you can't get the achievement in a single player game.

When you tested it, did you play a normal game or did you edit it to drink the Brian-Os and just check that the achievement triggered at the campfire? If the latter, I would guess that, at some point, the Brian-Os were edited so you couldn't get them in the first week, which makes the achievement impossible. If it was the former, could you tell me what type of game you were playing, i.e., number of players and length?

It could be that you need Juan to offer you the Brian-Os randomly, or win them in the game? Since I only have one controller, I can't play the drinks game on multiplayer so I wouldn't be able to get the achievement if it's that. If Juan offers it randomly, I could theoretically get it after a LOT of resets.

Oh, you're totally right. All-Brians only appear in the last drinks stage, so there's no campfire after that. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll fix it in the next patch update!
