Hello, I been playing rounds trying to get this on normal over and over with Reimu red and still can't get a run where I can get this achievement. If anyone has any tips or tricks to help or a seed to help me get a run it would be greatly appreciated.

Tip I'm aware of:

The event in question is the one with the 2 girls where you sacrifice your HP to gain things, and you need to ask for the exhibition and get the cookie from it.

If you visit a shop, any of the three items being sold WILL NOT be an option for this event, if you run into the cookie in a shop its a lost run and you need to go again, meaning checking shops is a double edge sword, check and no cookie is 3 less relics to random into, but finding it ends the run instantly.

Increasing your max HP doesn't help give you more chances, since it asks for a % of your HP per ask, but choosing anything that gives you more HP during the event does give you maybe 1 or 2 more tries if you're lucky

Not checking the shop seems like a logical fallacy. The cookie placement is random in the eyes of the player, but absolutely not random in terms of the seed. You're only hurting yourself if you attempt to predict the cookie's placement in the pre-set exhibit rotation for that run.

Are you implying that once a run has begun the cookie will be where its gonna be? so skipping shops won't help and I should hit every shop to make sure there is no cookies being sold so I know when I get the event it will have a chance to be there?

This is correct yes. You can even remember and share/repeat any given seed to replay the exact same run with all the same preset randomness once more. You're locked out of achievements however so sadly it's not as easy as knowing the correct seed number beforehand.

Checking all the shops and resetting the run as soon as you see a cookie should be the optimal course of action if the achievement is all you're after.

I just got the achievement and can confirm that checking all shops and restarting if the cookie is in stock seems to be the best way to get it.
As people already said using seeds locks achievements but I will still share mine if someone wants it:

Thank you for the help, I tried the seed and playing Marisa potion did matter for the seed, but it didn't give it to me sadly. I been running my own runs constantly hoping for RNG, been hitting every shop along the way, what act where you in when you got the achievement? Is it random like can the event happen in Act 2? or is it a Act 3 exclusive event?

That backdoor event is act 3 exclusive.
