L7 The Ancient Forest achievement
I've been trying to do the various mana-related achievements on L7 and I've been really struggling with this one in particular. To me it seems especially difficult compared to the others. Given that we don't have access to Koishi yet, you're forced to go through 2 50/50s in mono-Cirno green A1 and praying for Sanae green drop on A3, which is difficult boss for green in itself. On top of that I feel that green Cirno is disproportionately dependent on multiclassing to do well, since even its best cards are awfully slow, especially against Seija. With that in mind I want to ask people for tips in this situation - good cards I might've overlooked, or overall run strategy. Is the key simply to pray for certain good green cards, or to rely on specific blue cards, or maybe even to pray for A2 off-colors from Yuyuko and Tenshi?

I think defeating Seija is not required for this achievement. Meaning that as long as you have 5 green mana, you can lose to Seija and get the achievement.

Other than that... Yeah, Cirno loves off-colors, and mono green strategies are not very strong. Would not try that on L7. If I had to, I'd still try to grab the off-color relic, and then hoping for green mana relic at floors 2-3. Especially blank card.

Since you're trying this on difficulty L7, you'e asking for a perfect run to get this 5 green achievement. Keep in mind you don't have to beat the extra final boss for the achievement, but always go for it since getting a chance at an extra relic going into Act 4 helps with RNG.

With this said you would have to do a Cirno Mono green run, and it is doable but again you need the right cards to make it work.

You either need to get the ability "Beauties of Nature" which will give you flowers to spam for stacking damage for offense.

Wingbeats Flight is also very strong for defense, and can become offensive if you get the poison team mate.

Mental Energy Injection also helps make any ally twice as strong.

Social Butterfly is good, note that you should only take this if you have spare orbs and/or the other card "Fairies' Abode since that card requires you to summon them to gain the block, and using "call on Friends" will not trigger this block gain.

With that said Call on Friends is great if you have the Mental Energy Injection since you just want a lot of allies if you get that rare.

Sadly you're only viable Area of effect card in a green team build is "Yummy fruit freezies" and unless you can scale your single target to defeat enemies quickly you'll need this.

Last note if you wanna keep going on this, any cards that can force the word "Echo" onto it works insanely well with Teammate cards. Summon them first, then make them a Echo, now every time you use there small or big move, they will keep duplicating themselves, but if you use the ultimate move on the original it won't make anymore since it will go away and you're only left with copies. This makes the "Kasumi, Mansion Main" a very powerful card if you can get Echo on it, due to spamming its -3 cost skill to make a clone army, then use those clones to make the rest more powerful.

I completely forgot Seija isn't required for the achievement, that does help (although I'd probably still aim to beat her, since it doesn't feel complete otherwise). I've been focused on grabbing green floor 1, but maybe just going for the floor 2-3 rng is indeed better. I'll give it a go with that in mind, maybe trying to grab blank card or ying-yang orb, or lucking into a mountain echo build.

Another fairly good card is Wrath of Nature, it's very cost efficient and can easily carry you through act 1 and some of act 2. It can even work as your lategame win condition if you can thin out your deck to play it every turn. Green Cirno kinda doesn't have a lot of good defensive cards, so on that department you're kinda reliant on getting Wingbeats. Dupion can also be a lategame scaling option if you can get a source of rainbow mana, like an upgraded Extending Arm and such.

I noticed this too in my previous L7 green runs. Lost in Paradise(x2) and Wingbeats Flights/Rainbow Danmaku Dupion was an exceptionally powerful defense/scaling engine consolidated into four cards.
