I've run into this problem on two consecutive runs now. So progressing beyond the first objective in the Switch version is looking a tad impossible.
I'm not 100% sure what's going on here, but it appears to be a nasty game breaking glitch!
The door did not lock this time until I was already through it, so I continued into the ducts and activated Iris. Then I got killed by a very angry berserker! lol
I have played this game off and on for some time, as the nature of the game can cause discouragement at times, so I kinda figured I'd overlooked something, or missed something somewhere.
I noticed that I am able to go to the second floor, so does that mean I must have completed this part of the game?
The "Objective" page has nothing to indicate if an objective has been completed, or is currently active, so I'm completely lost.
I want to continue onto the second floor, but I also don't want to skip something I may need later.
If this really is just a glitch that can happen, and it's not something I've simply completed without realizing, then I'm glitched 100% of the time, and nothing I can do will ever open this door no matter how many dozens of times I play.
I've even tried 'rerolling' the configuration of the floor by returning to the starting point countless times with the same result, a locked door...
