Still no motion controller support?
Why? This game needs it. You're running around interacting with things with your hands and it clearly looks like it was made with motion controllers in mind originally, yet it only supports gamepads.

Hi.

It's something we're still looking at. The Persistence was always designed with more classical controls in mind. It will involve significant re-engineering of underlying systems in movement, animation and combat in particular to support motion controls. It's a bigger undertaking than it first may appear.

VR and non-VR play for Steam supports both controller and mouse & keyboard support.

ya i agree, i would lovc this game with motion controls. until then ill pass. but the psvr demo showed me that motion controls would be a great fit. i mean, imagine that oculus and others dont even sell controllers, and havent sold them in a bundle in years. so im surprised its even releasing on pc without it. psvr, every person has a ps4 controller, so like resident evil, more chance for people to play.

A virtual reality game requires control for virtual reality! Few will play this without motion controllers!

Yeah, I'll buy it the day motion controller support is added. Hopefully that can happen for day one, but if not I'll keep holding out hope you guys add it post-launch, and buy it then.

I sold my PSVR because of the lack of analog sticks on the move controllers..I didn't upgrade to PCVR just so I could be stuck with a gamepad again..

Thankfully the majority of other VR games on Steam support motion controllers.

I'm with you Zach.. I am indeed thankful the vast majority of other games on Steam support motion controllers.. Been playing Skyrim VR for example .. And playing with motion controllers finally with analog sticks is a dream beyond Talos.. There really is no excuse for Firesprite to not implement motion controllers.. This isn't PSVR..And I don't believe them for a moment when they say they're looking into it..Oh well.. Their loss if they don't
