How to get more wall kegs in the new update?
I can't find a blueprint in the shops and I can't craft them. Anyone figure out how to unlock the recipe yet?

Only way I've found is to buy it at the other inn. (The inn that is in the town). He sells them for like 4 gold

I don't know how to get any blueprints actually. I got lots of wood, but I can't craft a big table, only buy it

I haven't bought any yet but I think they are in the shops, they look like they have a paper background. I haven't played a ton will have to check next time I am in game. Thx for telling me where to get a keg :)
I hope crafting is not completely or nearly completely removed in this next big update.... I considered trying the beta version, but I'd rather just wait for the update to come out.

doesn't seem to be removed, it appears you can go around it if you want though.
Fair enough, I guess that will appease all the people clamouring to "spend more time inside the tavern actually running it" while completely ignoring the fact that building and crafting things and farming resources to improve and stock the tavern IS part of running it xD lol

i (in theory) can naturally acquire or build/smith what i need for my IRL job, but home depot has it all ready to go.
You live in an industrialised society, which has nothing in common with the medieval fantasy setting of Travellers Rest, so that would make sense. However, in the setting of the game, it makes sense that someone starting from nothing, with just a plot of land and a run-down building, would have to make stuff from scratch for the most part, in order to turn said property into a bustling successful business. Just my opinion.

They definitely swung the pendulum more toward buying the heavy equipment (a lot of stuff that used to be crafted in the smithy/sawmill/stonecutter) which makes it easier to focus on everything related to actually making food and drink. They removed some player freedom but it's a lot less chaotic and disjointed.

I think the update is overall positive, but still need some tweaking. It's a positive you can buy most the stuff you need, but it is expensive and you turn a small profit. If you spend time crafting the things yourself you will turn a bigger profit. Overall better.
But it took me some time to realize the carpenter sells recepies.
