Getting to 50 people?

Anyone knows the factor that decides the number of visitors? like I have put seating up to 120 slots, have like 700+ comfort points, level 43, got bird, maxed cat love, food and drink always stocked, but can never reach 50 visitors? what am i missing?

Go into your inventory
Go the the leftmost tab (Tavern)
The top right will have your Reputation (level) and you base max seating based on the level.
The top right is the occupancy bonus you get from your comfort level. (I think the occupancy bonus is capped at +9.) If you add the two numbers, are you over 50?

I suspect your numbers are 48 +9, which is well over 50. I don't know why you are not getting the achievement.

I had seating for about 80 when I got the achievement, so 120 is more than enough.

You probably have to be open for lunch rush, dinner rush, and the evening crowd for a week or so to get enough people in. You don't get max customers all the time.

I'm at reputation 43 with maximum occupancy of 46 and occupancy of +12. So.. Kinda confused there, is it my reputation that is deciding factor? then what's the occupancy + for?

Also, I am always open from morning to night but so far not yet 50 people

I had wondered about that. Before the big update that changed the skill trees and customizing food, the two numbers needed to be added. It appears now that the left number already includes the right number.

I am Reputation level 42 with a max occupancy of 47.
You are Reputation level 43 with a max occupancy of 46.

The comfort level in my tavern is over 800, and my occupancy bonus is +13.
The comfort level in your tavern is over 700, and your occupancy bonus is +12.

So, compared to me you have a +2 based on level and a -1 based on comfort, for an overall +1.

The big thing is your occupancy is only 46. You need to bump that up another 4 before you can get the achievement.

I got the achievement back before the big change, when they completely redid the tech tree and took away a lot of recipe customization. I always thought my max occupancy dropped then, but I wasn't sure what it used to be or how the numbers worked. This shows it did drop, and I wouldn't get the achievement now.

Yeah, it is extremely odd. So by the evidence, it suggest that comfort level is really doesn't affect much the maximum occupancy so does the occupancy bonus. since it needs to be 700 to get extra 3 seat or 800 to get 5. Is satisfaction also factors in in this? since my satisfaction is around 75~80%. maybe you got full satisfaction? since it seems satisfaction as a factor seems more plausible than comfort.

Also not to mention the lodging part of the game, since i only got 1 room open. is the room also part of the occupancy? or is it something else as well?

I'm not up at that level yet so I can't test, but I wanted to mention staff/employee traits - some that reduce your capacity (Infamous) and some that add to it (Popular), so you might want to double check that as well.

Guest rooms have their own comfort/satisfaction and I'm pretty sure they do not affect the dining room.

i manage to attain this achievement, i believe due to having 2 hired employee that had the Max Occupancy bonus stat of +5 each.

I didn't have both infamous and popular, since I want money and speed boost. I have gotten the achievement despite only having maximum occupancy of 48 and 1 guest room
