Also check the orders outside on the board, to see if you can make anything. Also try and have staff that will boost your reputation. A well decorated tavern also helps. Happy Holidays.
Then put knick-knacks on tables. Same method - put the same type of nick knack on several tables one by one until comfort stops going up. Then switch to another nick knack. My tables are pretty full of stuff.
Put floor decorations down. I have a Christmas areas on one side of my tavern with a tree and other items but no tables. And a Halloween area on the other side. And a full set of aquariums in the middle. You will be space limited here, so pick the best items. You can put down multiples of small items with high comfort.
And the trickiest is wall decoration. You are very space limited here. I've spent some time swapping out decorations to see what give more comfort - a second high comfort item, or a first low comfort item.
My comfort is 832, and I keep adding stuff. My rep per customer is usually 400 to 550. (Without a VIP.)
