XP very Slow?
Hey guys, been binging the game the last few days.
Logged 11hrs, but still only lvl 8, which seems quite low?

So is there anything to look out for, or is the xp progression just a bit slow?

Cheers guys

Rugs are really good. You can place several of each type, and there are a ton of types. Watch the comfort level and start placing one type of rug. When the comfort level maxes out, stop placing that type of rug and start placing the next type. Many of us have overlapping rugs. Even if a rug is completely covered, it still provides comfort.

Then put knick-knacks on tables. Same method - put the same type of nick knack on several tables one by one until comfort stops going up. Then switch to another nick knack. My tables are pretty full of stuff.

Put floor decorations down. I have a Christmas areas on one side of my tavern with a tree and other items but no tables. And a Halloween area on the other side. And a full set of aquariums in the middle. You will be space limited here, so pick the best items. You can put down multiples of small items with high comfort.

And the trickiest is wall decoration. You are very space limited here. I've spent some time swapping out decorations to see what give more comfort - a second high comfort item, or a first low comfort item.

My comfort is 832, and I keep adding stuff. My rep per customer is usually 400 to 550. (Without a VIP.)

Make sure you make the most of VIP days, double xp. The VIP arrives around 1pm so make sure you are open, and when they order at the end of the night around 1am, close as soon as they have their last order up so they are one of the last to leave and you will get the double xp from almost all of the customers. As soon as the vip leaves xp goes back to normal.

Also check the orders outside on the board, to see if you can make anything. Also try and have staff that will boost your reputation. A well decorated tavern also helps. Happy Holidays.

Xp gain free mnthe tavern is tied to it's comfort rating. Decorate, but be aware the second of each item gives half the value and less after that.
