food variety

been a while since i played, tho i remember reading that having a lot of food options helps with rep. where does that cap out? i packed my menu with like 2-3 dozen different foods and i don't see much difference. is the sheer amount of food types just a preference thing?

Only different dishes count as variety. If you make a dish with cow milk and the same dish with goat milk, that only counts as one dish. Or a dish with pork and the same dish with beef is only one dish even though it is two slots in the menu.

It does generally seem to make a difference, but not as much as decor in the dining room. The exception is if you only have a few choices then customers will be unhappy.

I did a bit of testing an as far as i can say, for every individual dish you provide, you will get +4 reputation. And read some where there is no cap.
