Can we save Ferro yet?

Any info I've found about the "man in ice" seems to be almost over a year old almost. I was wondering, if with any of the recent big updates if there is now a way to free him from the ice so we can adventure into the mines?

Nope. Mines are not released yet. I think it's in either the next big update or the one after it

Thank you! I looked all over google and never got a clear answer. I wasn't sure if it had a different name other then the mines as well so I'm thankful for the info!

It's in the soon section of their roadmap and it's towards the top so I figure it's gotta be soon since it's been in the making for awhile assuming their roadmap is accurate. It could be longer though if they focus other npc. The mines are probably going to be a large area so it depends on how they focus and if they start adding in story mode content which might tie into unlocking the mines

Opening the mine should give us access to tier 2 (iron) tools, so that will be nice when it happens.
