Some recipes don't appear

Hi,
anyone able to give an info?
a month ago I started playing again on my old save from last year October. A few new things were added in this time, e.g. that shrine where you can unlock recipes and generally the way recipes work.
I noticed I am lacking many recipes, e.g. Marmalade toast and beer-wise I only have 4 sorts. Pils, Bock, etc. are gone. Strong beverages only Vodka and Brandy. No Gin. None of the recipes are found at the shrine. I think I have all the tools necessary. I'm Level 16, should I not be able to make a simple toast?

Please help. I have the feeling I'm missing something.
I also have no clue how to unlock beekeeping from the last update. Found no crafting recipes, equipment in town or at the farm... But Irrigation works just fine. Please don't tell me I have to start a new game.

Have you checked the other tabs at the shrine?

Some recipes, like Marmalade Toast and the beers you list, are gone.

Some, like jam and tortillas, don't need to be acquired, you get them when you buy a recipe that needs them. (This isn't consistent, sometimes you need to buy the ingredient recipe. It is pretty good at telling you when you need to do this.)

Gin and Whiskey are still around.

Every menu system in the game has an ALL tab on the left - except the recipe menu at the shrine. You need to check every tab. (This has tripped up a lot of people.)


For bees - cut down full grown trees. A lot of trees. There is a small chance of full grown trees dropping a queen bee. Some people have found one after only 2 or 4 trees, Other people are still looking after 50 trees, so it is very random.

After you find you first bee, Woody will send you a letter in the mailbox.

FYI, a large apiary is better than three small apiaries, and both choices take three bees.

my friends . I didn't get how the shrine works. recipes are all there.I just didn't check the other tabs. Thank You!
to be fair, tabs work differently at other points in the game. they don't show other recipes, but just filter them, like meat only (as you said).
