Is there a way how to get rid of the bird ? Im tired of feeding it and taking care of it so he will be giving the positive reps to people :D Wanted him for the achiev. But i wish i could put him in the chest or something. Does anyone know ? Thanks :)

Once I get them to 100 I never go near them again unless there's a table nearby and I'm helping the wait staff out.

They don't starve, and the Rep they go up or down is trivial so I just leave it be.

This play through though I'm avoiding it so far. I'll have to get really bored to bother. Now if they could make the NPCs go up and talk to it and feed it when it says something nice, that would be OK. All kinds of things they could talk about...

There's a pic somewhere of all the different ones in someone's tavern. I can't even imagine...

you will need to buy the bird cage, you can keep the parrot in there.
go into deco mode to pick up your bird, keep into inventory, then toss it into the bird cage.

I have like 170 hours on my save and ive stopped playing before the whole City update. And before that ive finished that achievment, tamed my parrot, put him on the stick and well then when i stopped feeding it he was giving me bad rep :D so i sold his cage and put him in my inventory. And now i came back to play the game and I see him in my inventory :D and i was wondering if I could get rid of him. I really wish as Doc Savage said that there would be some npc to take care of him instead of me haha.
But yea Ill try to buy the cage again and hope that he will be more friendly and ok haha. Thanks for the replies guys

I always just wanted to stuff it all in a chest and keep it in the corner of my room.

If I ever got bored I could take the parrot out for a bit.

That and I just let the bird say whatever. It says good and bad, and every once in awhile when I was near it when it said something good I spiff it cracker. Hardly call it attention, but I never really noticed anything serious in the Rep department.

I guess if I was min maxing I'd be more attentive. I just don't worry about the nickels and dimes... I got dollars to make.

Maybe it has changed now so you have to pay attention to it more. In my mind, that's just all the more reason to be happy to be avoiding it this go round...

I got him to 100, and now I just leave him in the cage almost all the time. Sometimes when I have a VIP and I'm just hanging out in the dining room working on Rep, I'll bring him out. But he spends 99%+ of his time in his cage in my bedroom.

my parrot is at 100 too. but i also leave him in his cage mostly. and forget about it. can't stand to hear the bad-rep sound. lol. bad things he says seems to be a -4rep, good things is +100rep. it flashes a bit fast so i could be wrong but that looked like the numbers.

Yes. It's a lot more good than bad when you look at all of it, but the sound makes me think I did something bad when I didn't.

It takes me a minute to remember it was just the @#$%&%# bird... ?B)

i love this part lol. when i first read that the cat will go and bother the bird, i said "ohhh i really want to see that!" XD
very cute. and i let the cat pester it because birdy says bad things. and i'll pet my cat for that.
