Same room like in the tutorial, through the portal. And you need a resource (forgot the name), which you get at every reputation level up.

"recipe fragments"
You get 10 fragments per level until level 25, then you get 15 per level. Each recipe costs 5 fragments, so you really get 2 recipes per level for the first 24 levels, and then 3 recipes per level after that.

Some recipes unlock at higher levels, and it is often worth saving your fragments a level or two before so you can buy all the new unlocked much better recipes. You'll never be able to get all of the recipes, so focus on buying ones you'll use. The recipes at the bottom of each list tend to be much better than the recipes at the top.

If you need another recipe first, it will tell you. If it has an ingredient you don't have, it will give you both recipes. (Buying Toast gets the Jam recipe too. Buying Tacos gets the Tortilla recipe too.) (Be warned, you can't get the table required to make Jam until level 5 but you can unlock the JAM recipe before that. Hopefully this will get fixed.)

In case you forgot, the alter cave is in the mountain. When you see the camp on your right, head left.

FYI, the part of that cave before the portal is the only place to get white mushrooms. If you are foraging on the mountain, be sure to pop in to the cave even if you don't have fragments to spend.

You can fish in that cave, but it is the same as fishing in the stream that runs through the forest in the south and past the farm.

Fishing in that cave with seafood bait seems a very reliable way to get eels, where the river can be a bunch of stuff. Mostly meaningless difference, just thought I'd share my experience.

I have to walk up to a cthulhu portal to learn how to make some chicken nuggies?

Seems like an outrageously annoying way to access a menu.

yeah I also fish for salmon, trout, pyke and meagre there sometimes. Pyke is such a reliable, high-value fish to get in Spring and Summer, if you have some coin to spare for lures. Literally the only freshwater fish that goes for lures, super predictable.

Just wait till you get the horse and turn that whole thing into a ride thru... It sucks as the only give one burlap of spices now unless you pay.

It is a silliness. But then again we are trying to be the Personage of Leadership for the whole kingdom by building and running a BAr. I mean we're basically going to be the ruler because we're good at role playing Cheers..! (...NORM..!!..)

Can't be having such a mighty, royal appointment without some story, intrigue and a little secret cave being dispensing food knowledge to tip the scales in your favor....

I mean everybody had that back then, right..?

Right..?

It does look like this is going to be a thing too as we have other caves on the map.

Maybe we find the cave where we can learn the secret art of mixology so we can make drinks like reals instead of fizzy drinks sitting in a barrel for a month waiting for poor village saps who don't understand the physics of effervescence to buy them up...

Indeed. What wonders await...

Cheers..!
