stuck on training parrot, I've been giving it 2 crackers a day for a long time, everyday I check info and it shows summer, day 6, year 8, I'm in mid fall now and the red bar hasn't moved up at all, what am I doing wrong? please help, Thank you.

I've no idea why the date hasn't changed (and I hadn't ever even noticed the date on the parrot's info). However, I only gave my parrot a cracker immediately after it said something good.

Make sure you only give crackers after the bird says something that gets you positive rep. Giving crackers at random times has no effect. Giving crackers after negative remarks will teach it to say negative things instead.

The date is the bird's birthday, IIRC. It never changes.

thank you I kind of figured out that the date was probably the day it hatched, red bar is moving up some, still learning, thanks for the help.
