Housekeeper not cleaning rooms

I like that the staff has gotten some more management options, leaving me to do what I like (or do better) whilst letting them do what I don't want to do. But my housekeeper refuses to clean rooms. Is that linked to the rather broad "accomodation" checkbox in her staff menu? I thought that was only for negotiating with customers, and I turned that off because she always forgets to haggle with them. But I wasn't aware that also stops her from cleaning the rooms?

Same question here, I would keep the negotiation part and leave the rest to the cleaner.

Accomodation means anything to do with the Inn rooms. If it's unchecked, all she'll do is sweep messes and refill candles.

Ok. Thank you for your reply. I can only hope that this will be worked out onto a deeper level so I may micromanage it more in a future update. For now I will either do the cleaning myself or try to remember to keep switching it on and off

A year later, and they still haven't adjusted this so we can haggle and have them clean the rooms. Yeah, can we get that please? I want to be able to haggle, but I want them to clean the rooms...

By level 20, you're rich and haggling isn't needed. By level 40 you wish the magic brooms you put in every guest room would keep the rooms clean so your housekeeper can focus on getting food and drinks for the rooms.
Also it would be nice if the housekeeper would use the candles I make instead of always buying more.

I'm 24 and definitely not rich. I'm not entirely sure what people are doing to get rich so quick. Just as soon as I make a little money, I'm broke again adding just the tiniest bit on to the inn. I just now got comfortable enough to where I was able to make 3 rooms that don't completely suck. Or is there some min maxing I don't know about?

I will agree on the candles though. I have so much built up bees wax that I'm not using atm.
