How do you spend staff profession points?

All four of my staff have five profession points and I have no idea how to do anything with them. Any help is appreciated.

Open the staff page with J on the keyboard, or it's the last tab when you're looking at inventory/tech tree etc.

Then click on a staff member and click on the skill or the perk button at the bottom of the dialog and you'll see the level up progression.

Where you see the prof points, clic on the bonus (tto the right) and you will then have a choice to improve them ;)
By the way, is there a level of points at which malus can be wipe out ?

Awesome thank you so much, I didn't even notice the extra tab to the right of the recipe book.
