How to place the reservation desk?

Came back after a LONG break! Loving the new features so far, but am a bit lost. I can place plenty of things just fine - got the kegs behind the bar and such. I cannot place the reservation table - I've tried it inside the dining zone, outside the dining zone, got rid of all furniture and wall things around it. No luck. Do I need to be a certain level? I'm at 18.

Have you unlocked the ability to rent rooms? Otherwise it should go in the dining area. It basically has a 3x3 footprint.
I put it against the side wall near the bottom of the stairs, but I didn't think that was a required location.

Yup, I was renting 6 rooms. Does it need to be inside or outside the dining area zone?

Have you unlocked the ability to rent rooms? There is a tutorial when they happens, and I suspect the tutorial now gives the desk to you. You have to reach a certain level of reputation before it unlocks. I think the construction table that lets you expand the dining area and other areas of the inn unlocks at the same time.

For those of us who were already renting rooms, the latest update stuck the desk in our inventory and gave us a pop up saying it was there.

I accidentally threw my Reservation Desk away, is there a way to craft it again?
