STUCK ON TUTORIAL

Hi guys just wondering wtf is wrong i am on the mission where you have to place a table and chairs with the mouse scroll and e,f buttons all done i cant go outside but i can sleep any help would be great . Great £10 so far ...lol

The issue is that the tutorial prompts don't go away when the task is completed. I started a new game today and got locked on that. I restarted and saw a brief update on what it wanted me to do (I think open the tavern?) but the message still said that I needed to place all the stuff.

Ignoring the on screen instructions and following the instructions that had briefly flashed up (opening the tavern?) worked for me but it was frustrating.

EDIT: Yes, I correctly placed the table and benches. The first game I also placed all the candles but that didn't make a difference.

The first game I even tried picking them all back up and putting them all back down and it didn't change anything.

Sort of each step along the way. Got through it with my mission failed successfully style of gaming experience. I am gonna restart right now and see if i can explain what happened. It seems like sometimes I am faster finishing tasks than the game is prepared for so i repeat steps for the sake of the tutorial.

(I frequently get angry at games I like and love so if i come here an vent please don't take it as an insult to the folks bustin' their tuchus making the game.)

To quote Mr Smee from Hook(1991) "I've just had an apostrophe. Lightning has just struck my brain." In the first part of the tutorial after i fed everyone it still says 'A customer has requested an item...' And I was like yeah I fed everyone. But I hadn't realized until now that I am just waiting for people to eat and order more to fulfill the actual quest 'Serve 8 bowls of gruel' So right now I am waiting for these folks to finish and leave or order more food. It makes sense now.

A step int he tutorial explaining how last call works might be helpful to anyone that hadn't worked in a bar.

If a customer is covered in mud spots and instantly makes the table dirty upon sitting down, and then loudly insults my bar for being dirty, why can't I used my copper axe on him?

Yes exactly thats why i thought I was stuck as well.

im currently soflocked in the adding water to the keg part i added it but mai still says shes thirsty and i cant close the tavern

I am also stuck in the tutorial with the water bucket.

Can't get past this step of the tutorial.

I hope it gets fixed soon. It is game breaking. I have played this game before and enjoyed it very much.

We just uploaded a hotfix (v0.6.5.13f2) that solves the issue. Please restart Steam in order to force the download of the new patch.

If you got stuck after placing the table, did you press "B" to exit decor mode after?
you can't do anything except move furniture around in decor mode.

I'm still having this issue I'm level 9 but still first steps quest is still showing as unresolved
