Co op???

So I tried playing it remotely and we both control one character is there a way for her to have her own character? Am I just doing this wrong?

You both will have your own character. It'll be played as split screen. I haven't tried out the coop yet, since it's local coop at the moment. Have you tried plugging in a controller?

I was using remote play and it works kind of. She controls both of the characters and I only control myself not sure why it's set for controller for her and keyboard for me.

Is online co-op planned for this game? I can imagine it would be really fun

It's likely the control settings set in Steam for remote play. I get this issue with other games, open Steam overlay and check that you are set to two different keyboards/controllers
