Are there really only 2 areas?

No town / forest / beach etc?

Hoping i'm missing something as I assumed there would be more to explore like in SV or GraveKeeper

Sorry for the silly question, but how do you find this area and who is Crowley? I don't play the game myself, but I know someone that does and I'd like to tell them about this content.

There is only one path you can go to in the south of the map where the tavern is. You go to that area and then in the very bottom right corner there is a path that you're able to go and that is where Crowley will be. He is an NPC that you can buy bird eggs and bird items. He only appears on Wednesdays and Thursdays after 19:00

So I see a cave that seems to have an opening but rocks blocking it, a bridge that needs repairing and poor ferro frozen in the ice, is this something coming soon?

Not sure, it might be? The next big update will be including another area though.
