The next major update will fix the UI issues, we're working on it :)
Remote Play Together also uses a split screen since the game is being played in only one computer. A real online multiplayer mode would be required to be able to play on 2 different monitors at full screen (this is planned and we hope to release it next year).
Great to know you are working on the issues. We will wait and keep playing
Need a way to turn off pop-up messages for the second player. I was trying to enjoy the game with my GF but the pop-up messages were taking up 25% of my screen and it was driving me nuts. This shouldn't have been a problem to begin with and I don't know how something like this is still in the game. For reference she was playing with m&kb while I was playing with controller. I discovered that right joystick would move a mouse on my screen but no button seemed to do anything with it, also she couldn't mover her mouse onto my screen to take care of it.
Again, how this kind of issue made its way into the game is bewildering to me.
