Can't even get passed the first tutorial.

I don't know if I'm missing something or just have run into a horrible bug. But I can't even get past the first tutorial. I can walk with WASD but I am always sprinting, can't press shift to stop or start, tried ctrl, nothing. Can't access the decoration menu, open any doors or anything. Basically all I can do is move around. I tried with both controller and keyboard, controller was even more problematic. I've restarted and nothing changes. I feel like I'm missing something obvious but I can not figure it out. Anyone has any ideas?

Update!
Must have been a bug, cause during the time I tabbed out to type this message and then got back in to try stuff it all worked as it should.

Still if I did miss something and someone knows what it was, please share it. :)

Are you in decoration mode (B key)? In decoration mode you can't interact with objects.

You can activate or deactivate the auto run by pressing left control.

I'm glad it's working properly now. We'll try to find out what happened and fix the issue.

I'm having this issue now. Nothing I do seems to help, including tabbing in and out. I even tried starting a new game to the same affect.

I encountered this a couple of months ago. What I ended up doing was just exiting the game and playing again the next day. It didn't happen again anymore after that.

It doesn't occur in build mode, it just happens upon starting the game. (at least that's what happened in my experience.)

It's definitely a bug of sorts, but it seems to work itself out randomly and other times you get unlucky and are stuck with it for a while. Definitely hope the devs look into it if the potential for it happening is still there.
