lighthouse island rune stone/ stone circle

anyone find a way to interact with these yet? the stone circle doesn't accept any meat i drop in the center and the rune stone gives some flavor text about a mushroom and "some sort of rod". i got a mushroom drop from the captain but i'm not seeing any change and i'm not sure what the rod could be...

alright so i figured it out spoilers ahead if you want to figure it out yourself
you need to use the flute purchased from the second tier area in trudograd in the middle of the stone circle while high on mushrooms. you can get an achievement and a unique spear with this if you pass the luck skillcheck.

No idea, it's still a big mistery, another dude started a similar topic, nobody knows yet how to activate that runestone.

Is that the same thing you get if you don't pass the skill check? trying to be vague to avoid spoilers.

The runestone itself mentions the mushroom and a pipe/rod/object so more likely than not it's just a hint on how to activate the easter egg with the fish mutants by using mushrooms and the flute.

Yes, I understand that. The big runestone itself at the cliff is what gives you the mushroom and rod hint.

its a dead chicken. think it's just a prop revolving around the whole cultist vibe that's going on the island. if there's any way to interact with the rune stone beyond getting a hint for the stone circle i haven't seen it.

I failed the luck check and had to use combat and, yes, it looks like i got the same 'Lance of the Sea' spear. Not sure what passing the check accomplishes? Or maybe you get the achievement passing the check which I didn't by failing?--I'll have to look at my achievements now and see, lol.

You get a spear from each dead murloc but it's a different version (weaker) than what you get by passing luck check.
