Any plans to add something like in Fallout 2 where depending on the PCs actions there was possible to have a kid with one of the romanced women...at least in the epilogue?
Also will there be some female companions in this game? In the previous one there was only one if I recall that was rather difficult to get...
I see, well IMO it would be a fun idea and a way to make condoms have an actual use in the game to prevent potential "consequences".
One more thing, any plans to give companions unique quests of their own to earn they loyalty, get to know them better or anything of the sort? Also do companions react in any way to the world by commenting on the locations or expressing their opinions during quests?

Cool, does it mean that Atom 2 might get DLC like Atom 1 did? Or expansions of some sort to the already finished content? Would be great. :)
As for the last point its true that good romance its difficult to write but I do not recall Fallout having some great romance either. Bioware games put some real effort to make romances a bit more involving for a change but "quick hook ups" that happened in Fallout and other games that were made by some of the folks that worked on Fallout were quite funny. Like the hilarious shotgun wedding in Fallout 2, the romance with the elven princess in Arcanum or the marriages in Temple of Elemental Evil (with one of the potential wives being super naggy and annoying on purpose).
I think such "pseudo romance" to give the hero a happy (or at least hilarious conclusion) could make for a funny potential epilogue IMO.
Seriusly I would ask to not put romances onto game as they not fit the setting well, what would fit the setting in my opinion was to have husband/wife left in Atom base and consequences if you cheat on her/him and caught.
Also more prostitutes and drinking vodka with strangers leading to all kind of consequences would fit the setting was parting hard thou hole of nine-ties before settling down, its what we Slavs like to do when young and out of Parents homes but it all should have consequences in game so if you are small team its better to write regular quests first.
oh and don't forget is post apokalyptik setting and morale is begone so is probaly fine when u play female or male to prostitute yourself a little bit, because money is tight or for insider info for quest when is fitting, but it should be under some rules.
like high skill value the needing for money when you have no food and very hungry, or simple it fit good in the quest or personality of the npc.
oh and the npc can run out of money for this so it would not be overused probaly.
just as idea when the time is right for this but first the main and second side story's the are the most important the other thing are just very nice extra.
before i forget just do not be rushed good work need time to mature.

That being said: I do like it as it is in story that is being told. Some form of romance might sound like difficult but interesting proposition of DLC but I doubt it might be appealing project for devs as it would likely involve much work for little addition to lore.
Same time I do really like romances in CRPG. But they're not a must in any way. Just as I've stated - I do not see any potential target of any long-winded romance in setting we're having comrades
Also the Alucard propositions are almost hitting some loverslab slates... I do not know whether devs would like to go this route but we DID become a porn star in previous game. I would LOOOOOOOVE to use my max 'personality' to become a superstar of the docks brothel just in meantime... I imagine it would look like very odd (and hard to explain to higher brass) episode in Trudograd investigation. Or we might 'try' with minimal personality and fail. Heck! Include other stat checks like Dex for all those beyond logic kamasutra moves and strength for dominating local strongmen XD. I let my imagination run wild... Still I would love to see such sidequest potentially with some joke reward and steam achievement involving 'superb' performance with title like "Second coming of Mokoš" or "Just like a Zeus" (as we all know what HE was fameous for). This will be fun~
AndI do have on record suggesting achievement for killing eldritch horror in prior game before there was trophy for that, so fingers crossed.
Sametime such sidequest would be easy to write to point it writes itself~ so I seriously hope for that in some future update just for s'n'giggles XD

Gonna chime in and say Expedition: Viking is probably the best romance(s) done in a CRPG and could possibly serve as inspiration on where to build from/go on to make a good one(if the devs would want).
What sells it is the attention to minor 'unecessary' details, such as hand holding during the wedding scene, or interjection/jealousy during certain dialogue choices etc(emphasising that the PC is taken / not single).
But yeah if they were to decide to do romance, they should either go all in(same as expedition did. Putting Bioware to shame), or go the route of Interplay/Troika and make it a parody(such as super annoying naggy wife you can't get rid of, like a bad STD, lol).
Personally I'd love both options in the sequel, where the romance requires some work to get/start, or it starts off as a parody that can evolve further and blossoms into a well written one(think Miria's shotgun wedding, but where she becomes a good useful companion with expedition-like romance as time progresses).
Also would be great to have a one night stand that evolves into a few random stalker like events(or pregnancy that have the one you knocked up confront you after a tile about it), or husband/boyfriend hunting you down as he finds out. Basically add some humourous consequences to the casual sex.
