The game seemed to run fine before with two people (me and a friend) on the same computer via the steam-cast, just with a bit of keyboard rebinding, and now, literally suddenly, once you get to the "Press space to enter" screen, pressing enter does absolutely nothing and the game won't start.

Is there some glaring issue that I'm missing here? Google reveals nothing.

Seriously need a hand with this, this will be the eight co-op game on my steam list that just -isn't- co-op otherwise.

This might just be a writing mistake, but you're saying you tried to press "enter" when the game asked you to press "space".
It could also be that the game doesn't consider current keybinds when presenting the "Press space to enter"? But that's also just a guess.

Hey, sorry this is a bug we're currently working on a fix for. When you begin the game, just make sure that when the dialog pops up saying 'WARNING: Multiple players are assigned to the same device...' you press 'Confirm', and never 'Back'. If you press 'Back' you will need to restart the game. Sorry for the inconvenience and let me know if this doesn't help!

Hi. Having the same issue. Unfortunately, your workaround doesn't work for us, the game won't start even if we do not press "Back". It's just stuck on the select players screen with the "Warning: Multiple players are assigned to the same device..." message at the bottom.

I have this exact problem. My friend and I played through the previous version together using Steam Cast but now we get stuck at the same screen as OP and nothing we do seems to allow us to launch the game.

Is this going to be fixed? We both grabbed the DLC on day 1 and have been EAGERLY awaiting the fix for this issue that has plagued it since then, over a month ago. HELP

So so sorry about the delay on this. I've been having a hard time reproducing this issue.

Can you clarify for me:

- Are you playing via Steam Remote Play?
- What devices do you have connected? (eg. Keyboard, Gamepads)

Hey there, sorry for the late reply! Can you all confirm if you're experiencing the very same issue as the original post? I had thought this had been fixed, but I will need to investigate further if not.

I generally don't recommend having two people playing with one keyboard. If you have access to at least one other controller that is generally the recommended way to play. I'll look into this regardless!

Same here. Tried everything including never pressing "back" and just space/enter. I'm stuck too.
