Heavenly Bodies
It's like QWOP in SPAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!!
HAHA, despite the demo being super short (but you can try as many times as you want), I LOVED it! It's the type of game that encourages you to get better and grasp the odd controllers, and you actually get a good laugh when the character fumbles. I'm looking forward to the release!

Just to clarify on the title, this game (the demo at least) is NOT as difficult or frustrating as QWOP, but it somehow reminded me of it.

This one's controls actually make sense and work, you just have to get used to them, and that's part of the fun!

Interesting, never heard of QWOP until now, but it's been done years before anyone ever heard of Bennett Foddy - by a game called Human: Fall Flat, the first thing that popped into mind when checking out the trailer for this - and I'm not sure if they were even the first to implement the idea.

You should check it out if you liked the concept and control of QWOP (or Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, for that matter).

Yeah, I've heard of HFF, and looks interesting, too bad it doesn't have a demo.

About GOI, I've seen a ton of "Let's play"s, but it looks too difficult/frustrating for me. I may give it a try someday, but I cannot guarantee I wouldn't rage quit and punch the screen.
Check out some gameplay or a review on YT, for a better idea. It's definitely more fun with a local/couch coop partner, that's for sure.

Just finished playing the demo for this and this is definitely a 2D version of HFF, with thrustable legs, of course. Needs a little work with the physics (spinning radically out of control, holding the flexible tube at the end, after almost fully cranking/deploying the solar panels), but interesting and feels good enough to know this will be fun at it's final release.

Have yet to play GOI, but does look similar in concept - much like Mount Your Friends, which also came out some time ago.

Also, looks like I was wrong on what came first, actually. Good call:
QWOP (/kwɒp/) is a 2008 ragdoll-based browser video game created by Bennett Foddy ... Players control an athlete named "Qwop" using only the Q, W, O, and P keys. A couple of years after the game was released on the internet, the game became an internet meme after its outbreak in December 2010.

QWOP was back in 2008, whereas HFF was 2016 and MYF in 2014.

I agree QWOP is frustrating but this is fun, It seems a bit odd how you can breastroke through the vacuum of space though.
