I can no longer build any walls

I was building a mega mansion and now i am finally working on the 2nd floor and i am not able to construct any walls any longer. The game just does not show the wall piece in any way except a buggy half-positioned dangling way and it never lets me place it. It really just does not show me any wall pieces at all, and just sits there. I do not know how this happened or why. I am very disappointed because i can no longer work on my mega mansion anymore. I am not able to finish any wall building :(
