For Anyone Struggling With Performance

I found the "render quality" setting to be the biggest problem, set to ultra nearly halved my FPS with little visual difference. I've got a 3080ti and 5800x3D but barely get 50fps with ultra, setting it to medium bumps me to high 90s.

You can also try to make sure all your background apps are closed, set settings to lowest in settings and make sure your computer specs meet the requirements for the game, also if you have a VPN turn it off. I also found that turning VSYNC off helped a little when you are under the monitors refresh rate.

What happened to the grass? Previously, turning vegetation on enabled grass. But now it does nothing. In fact, none of the settings do impact frame rate much besides render quality.

Okay it was a bug. Grass returned with a restart.

would love to have DLSS.. and game crashes a lot on loading into another level. I crashed 2/5 times upon loading mission

Getting about 30fps with a i5-13600K/ RTX 4080 at 2K running maximum settings, so needs to be optimized. A lot.

Also frame gen, and dlss upscaling could be good.

and sorry, but the recommended PC requirements for a game of this type and with this graphics are a joke! That just speaks for damn poor development and optimization.

Yea I'm not tech savvy but I know I can run Baldur's Gate 3, multiplayer group of 4, on max graphics with high FPS, no issues. But I can't run this game very well even at medium. O_O I remember when Valheim came out, it was glitchy and had terrible FPS, but then a modder in the community made a mod that optimized the main issue which was from terraforming the land which created huge data chunks or something. So I think this will be optimized better in the future patches?

Huge performance issues. And the jobs are bugged. I think I'm gonna let this game cook for a while before I waste any more time on it.

The performance is a bit better now, but I still can't break the 60fps barrier with a 13600K/RTX 4080/32GB DDR5 system. Running the game at 2K, max settings, without dynamic resolution. (Dynamic resolution doesn't impact the fps at all for some reason)

Installed new update. 1070/ 16GB ram here. Can run pretty much any modern game with medium to high specs at 1080 and 1440p. I cannot run this at 60 frames unless everything is on low and resolution is set to 1200p at the HIGHEST. And it STILL frame drops like crazy. I'll keep waiting patiently. Not upgrading my graphics card for a 20 dollar home building game.
