How the heck do I make hay bales from straw?
Still new, so just curious how I go about making hay bales (I know I can sale hay individually) ? Or was this a game feature that's since been removed?

You have to buy spools of thread/rope from the vendor who sells tools in town. Pot the spool in a slot on your action bar, activate it (have it in your hands), and left click on piles of grass/hay on the ground. Keep in mind if it’s not a full pile, it will turn a partial pile into a bale. So if you’re not careful, you can end up with a single piece of grass as a whole bale.

on a side note to help you save some of that string a bale can only hold 15 units of grass.

So if you make a bale that is less then that when you look in it you can just add to it.

Makes using Hay and straw for feeding animals easier Grass seems to rot at the end of a year where as I see no indicator of that on straw.
