Cows keep dissappearing

I have had 2 cows and 2 bulls vanish on me so far. The feed box is always full, and they are never hungry and they are there when I take them out of the stall in the morning, but when I go to put them back in their stall at night I cannot find them anywhere and when I go to Tekla and ask her to find my cows there are none on the map. This is driving me crazy.

I've had this problem happening intermittently for a very long time (from before the wife update), not just cows, but all of the various creatures at one time or another. I had it occur with the new beta by the end of my 3rd game day (lost my cow - last seen entering the barn) so it seems a fairly frequent bug to occur. Sadly about the only thing you can do until the developer figures out just what the heck is going on is to load one of the autosaves from before the critter vanishes.

I agree that it is highly irritating.
