I cannot get the cow in the stall. I have tried and tried but it will not go in the stall in the chicken barn. I tried building a gate in the big wooden barn to make a stall and still did not work. What is the trick to get the cow into a stall so can have milk to make butter?

There is no trick. Start leading the cow. Make sure it follows you, approach the gate of the stall. Use "take animal in" interaction and the cow will go in by itself.
