Overall it is better to go closer to middle of clearings and try to spot animals coming to clearings or standing at edge of forest.
Your visibility inside forest is so short that getting into position to shoot is hard.
Fluffy eats any pig-compatible food (animal feed, potatoes, carrots, apples, or cabbages). You will need a trough, which can be bought from the animal vendor in town. However, take note that there is currently no benefit to feeding Fluffy, and he/she eats like, well, a pig....
You can butcher them at the table in the barn, and sell the skin to the meat vendor in town. You can eat the meat or sell it (in either case boil it to make ham first for better yield).
